We’re excited to join our community to both enjoy and sponsor the 2022 St. Peter’s Bazaar.
As it has for nearly 100 years, St. Peter’s Italian Bazaar will soon fill the streets of Munjoy Hill with the aroma of mouth-watering Italian food and the sounds of games, dancing, live music and more. For two days, August 12th and 13th, Federal Street will be home to one of our favorite summer events. And this year, Conroy-Tully Walker Funeral Homes is proud to join in the fun as a sponsor.
The Bazaar has become a tradition for generations of Mainers and is a staple in the Portland community. From the cannolis, sausage subs and Italian ice, to the dulcet tones of Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin, the Bazaar offers a wonderful opportunity for the community to celebrate Portland’s Italian-American heritage and reconnect with friends, neighbors and businesses.
That’s why Conroy-Tully Walker is proud to be a sponsor of the 2022 St. Peter’s Bazaar. We treasure our Portland community and have fond memories of watching our family dance to Dean Martin and Frank Sinatra, get their faces painted and fill-up on all our favorite Italian delicacies. But best of all, profits from the Bazaar will help to benefit St. Peter’s Church.
St. Peter’s has been a staple in our community since 1915, and the Bazaar has been bringing generations of people to Federal Street since 1925. Over more than a century, St. Peter’s has brought joy, solace and comfort for families around the community, and as part of our work, we’ve seen firsthand the incredible role that the church plays for families when it comes to mourning. Their commitment to the community serves as a model for organizations around Portland, and is a daily reminder of the importance of compassion and charity.
