We pride ourselves on making our facility feel like a second home — a true place for peace, comfort, and warmth. Our facility is equipped to provide you and your family only the very best and we invite you to explore all that we have to offer.
Our beautiful Funeral Home on Historic State Street was built in 1847 by Thomas O'Brion during the beginning of the Greek Revival period. It boasts of many owners during its first hundred years, including the Rines family, who occupied it during the turn of the century. Tastefully redecorated and renovated, this landmark combines architectural beauty and home-like warmth so important to the many families served.
Our State Street location provides ample, easily accessible parking in two large parking lots with a parking capacity of over 70 vehicles.
In the spring of 2015, our State Street location began a massive redecorating project that was completed in November of 2015. The newly redecorated interior maintains the building's historical integrity while offering updated, comfortable surroundings that can accommodate any type of service a family selects.

Our facility is fully accessible and has a capacity for approximately 250 people, making it the preferred Funeral Home for families who desire to have Funeral, Memorial Services or Celebration of Life Services.
In the summer of 2015, our South Portland location underwent a large room conversion, providing a much more spacious and comfortable lounge for receptions.
With 65 years of dedicated service, Conroy-Tully Walker Funeral Homes is pleased to announce the commencement of construction of a new facility at 300 Allen Avenue in Portland.
Owners Adam and Caitlin Walker will commemorate this milestone at a small groundbreaking ceremony, ushering in a new era for funerals, cremation, celebration of life, and memorial services in Greater Portland. Originally slated for completion in October 2024, unforeseen permitting delays have extended the timeline, with the new completion date expected in the Fall of 2025.
"This new location will establish a new standard in our state as a Funeral, Cremation, and Memorial Event Center. Our new facility will be able to accommodate a diverse range of ceremonies, from elaborate traditional funerals complete with food and drink to intimate family farewells." explained Adam Walker. "Often, families engage a funeral home to handle the cremation or burial of a loved one, only to then seek out separate venues like restaurants or hotels for receptions or celebrations of life. With our new facility, families can consolidate all aspects of their event planning under one roof, resulting in significant cost savings and the added benefit of professional guidance and convenience." Walker elaborated.
This 9,899 square foot modern facility aims to redefine funeral home experiences, providing amenities tailored for comfort and convenience:
- Spacious gathering areas for formal services or intimate gatherings.
- Dedicated reception area with an outdoor patio.
- Partnerships with local caterers for food and drink services.
- Two private arrangement offices for personalized planning.
- State-of-the-art care center ensuring dignity for decedents and safety for staff.
- Employee areas fostering a supportive work environment.
- Ample off-street parking, including courtesy spaces at night and weekends from Bangor Savings Bank.
