Community outreach is a huge aspect of our work here at Conroy-Tully Walker. We’re not just an institution, we are individual people too, and we care for all of the communities we serve. From service events to charity drives to personalized grief support, our priority is treating family, friends and loved ones with the same care and dedication as if they were our own.
Our Past Events
Of course, due to the current state of the world with the COVID-19 pandemic, we unfortunately cannot host many of our usual community events. However, in the past we have had the honor of putting on annual candlelight services around the holiday season, Coordinating a special Mass on Memorial Day, appreciation cookouts for First Responders, hosting an annual school supplies drive, and even having essay contests for local high school students.
Guidance, Advice and Tips
We understand that funeral services are sometimes daunting, out-of-the-ordinary social settings to operate within. This can give some attendees a sense of anxiety. We at Conroy-Tully Walker do our best to mitigate these anxieties and help soothe the communities we’re working with.
On our website we have a number of resources for etiquette, FAQs and preparing eulogies or obituaries. We strive to provide guidance to all folks involved in our services in order to make the process as smooth as possible.
Grief Support
Our work doesn’t end with a funeral or cremation service. It is also hugely important to us to give our community further guidance on coping with their grief even after our services conclude. There are many tools on our website to assist folks in their unique healing journeys on the grief support page.
We also encourage you to contact us, and together we can discuss other grief support resources and even develop a personalized solution for healing. Taking care of our community is at the heart of our work at Conroy-Tully Walker, and always will be the reason we do what we do.
