UPDATED APRIL 4, 2020
As our community is aware, there has been a lot of concern in regards to COVID-19, or more commonly known as the coronavirus. We are monitoring and following the guidelines from the National Funeral Directors Association and the CDC, and the leadership and staff of Conroy-Tully Walker remain vigilant and available to serve our community as safely and prudently as possible. We believe it is important to provide you with information that may help answer questions you have about COVID-19 and funeral services.
Effective April 2, 2020, the "Stay at Home" Executive Order from Gov. Janet Mills prohibits funeral gatherings in excess of 5 people.
We have always helped families celebrate and honor their loved ones in a public forum. This worldwide pandemic will not prevent us from giving you an opportunity to honor your loved one - it will just delay it. Throughout this crisis, here are a few additional ways Conroy-Tully Walker is serving our community:
This is a free program that will allow those who cannot attend a future funeral or memorial service to leave a message of love and support for families who've lost a loved one.
Our caring staff will attach your condolence message to a balloon which will be placed on a chair during a future service to represent those who cannot attend.

Let's all show our love by keeping each other safe.
Our care center personnel and embalmers follow strict ethical and protective measures when preparing remains for burial or cremation. We treat every decedent, regardless of cause of death, with the highest levels of dignity and respect. Rest assured that with our standards in place, there are no known risks associated with seeing the body of someone who has passed due to COVID-19. Implementing an overabundance of caution, we strongly encourage family members and friends to refrain from all physical contact with deceased loved ones. Our staff is committed to providing you a protected but respectful opportunity to say goodbye to your loved one.
State mandates prohibit in person funeral arrangements in excess of 5 people, including our staff. Conroy-Tully Walker is also equiped to make arrangements by phone, email or video conference. Our commitment to our client families and our attention to detail will not be impacted by this temporary method of communication. As always, we are here for you and your family.
